Iraqi Journal of Architecture and Planning (IQJAP) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary scholarly journal publishing original research in architecture, planning, and the built environment. Established in 2001, the journal disseminates applied and theoretical research with particular relevance to Iraq and the Middle East, while maintaining an international scholarly outlook. IQJAP operates a double-blind peer review process and publishes articles in Arabic and English, including original research articles, review articles, and perspective/commentary contributions. The journal follows an open-access publishing model under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license, allowing immediate and free access to published content. IQJAP is published on a biannual basis, with regular issues released in January and July, and is indexed in several national and international abstracting and indexing services, including Scopus, DOAJ, IASJ, EBSCO, and WorldCat.
