This paper studies the concept of Pedestrian Friendly Environment in Residential complexes. It's defined it as (an environment that posses number of design and social characteristics, such as safety, vitality, connected and accessible. Also interesting, comfortable, through good design of pedestrian axes, mixed use and sustainable transportation. The research problem is that (there is a knowledge gap about the characteristics of this environment, and its treatment in residential complexes locally .The research hypothesis is that (The Pedestrian Friendly Environment in Residential complexes materialized through, planning dimensions, design and environmental characteristics and treatments). The paper found that the aim of pedestrian friendly environment is to improve the body activities, increase the quality of space and the social interaction, materialized the sustainable transportation. The planning dimensions were the intense mixed use, and the design of pedestrian axes. The main design characteristics were accessibility, vitality, permeability and safety. And finally providing shads as environmental treatment..

Deconstruction thought in image of Islam architecture
Ibrahim
Kadhim
Prepare architecture, Pot to the creative and aesthetic situations of man, Carrying features consistent with the needs of man, and in accordance with his traditions and environment, Characterized by the absorption of several aspects to grow While, for the thought of deconstruction, the most important part of dealing with the investment of architectural ideas in forms approved by it or the texts presented therein, to create configurations relied upon. In addition, the research interest in "generating design ideas between the search for strange forms and other forms of architecture, Arab or local to form forms desirable and non-expendable." This is what determined the problem of research in explaining the impact of the thought of deconstruction in building images of the architecture of Islam. In addition, When we look at deconstruction as a curriculum of Islamic knowledge, the study of an idea is worthy of study and reflection especially in an era dominance Western knowledge and sovereignty outside its environment. In addition, the research concluded that the image of Islamic architecture gave the fixed meaning and its foundation to the two situations of complete disagreement over everything that preceded it and correlative symmetry in many self-characteristics a place. While the forms of thought reflective based on the case of cross-difference in a few characteristics of the previous (the other is images architecture of Islam) time and the similar damage to the participation in a few characteristics of a place gave the change in shape..

Integration of Formal Structure in Urban Centers
Khansaa
Rasheed
Mohammed
Salman
Today, our cities are witnessing rapid expansion, growth and transformation to meet needs, The most important of these transformations is the transform of parts of residential neighborhoods into urban centers dynamically with the growth and expansion of the city, And this made us stand on the problems experienced by these modern urban centers of the absence of the elements of a structured structure integrated with them as well as the factors that affect this came this research to highlight this important aspect of urban development and urbanization. The research deal with the definition of urban centers , patterns and the need for its establishment , to build a knowledge base that contributed to the diagnosis of the main problem of research (Lack of clarity on the problems of determining the structures of an integrated structure for urban centers) and to solve this problem this research requires a number of studies and hypotheses about the urban centers, And its structure and morphology, as well as the transformations that occur in the urban centers of these cites, its dimensions, aspect, and its reasons to reach the goal of research (Achieving a comprehensive theoretical framework on the transformations of urban centers and their structural structure). Thus, the basic hypothesis of research) Integrity of the formal structure of the urban center is realized by activating the center and re-organization of elements of the physical structure). The research adopted a descriptive analytical approach to discuss the research problem by taking Studies and suggestions on urban centers to extract basic Meanings and Build a comprehensive theoretical framework on the integration of the formal structure of urban centers. And application of the theoretical framework to the study area (Al-Mutanabi district).it was selected for the rapid pace of formal transformation and accelerated growth as a new urban center in the city of Baghdad. The research has concluded that the formal structure of the urban center is achieved by rearranging the elements of the physiognomy structure by achieving the concept of gradation of functional motifs This requires constant a controlled boundaries of urban center and a functional adaptive urban pattern .ً.

Environmental Design between heritage and contemporary
Ahmed
Haddad
Kais
Abbas
The research aims to demonstrate the importance of the intellectual and technological climate of the era, which is witnessing the development of vocabulary, which is completely different from another time period. Each generation has its own intellectual and technological specificity. In the context of this intellectual environment will discuss the sustainable climate system affecting the vocabulary of design, and how to achieve the comfort of the human in two different times; the first heritage of the old and the other contemporary. And how we can draw the basic concepts of this system at both times to conclude the different climatic treatments of the Environmental Design between the past and present. The ultimate goal of all this is the comfort of man .The research assumes that there is an important impact of temporal privacy and all that is linked culturally, socially and technologically to the possibility of benefiting from the environmental design treatments available in architecture aimed at achieving human comfort .Therefore, the objective of the research is to confirm this hypothesis through a series of appropriate contextual data. The search results will support the hypothesis .It recommends the adoption of environmental design within the intellectual and technological context of the era. With the need to move away from the environmental solutions of earlier times in the design of the contemporary urban environment because of the difference (intellectual - technological) between them. And replace it by taking advantage of the general principles of heritage solutions at the environmental, intellectual or technological level from a sustainable environmental and climatic perspective. .

The contemporary vision of Urban planning according to the requirements of modernity and spirit of the Times
Asaim
Ibrahim
Seven topics are addressed in terms of formulas in conjunction with the modernity of what planning is according to the level of being vague and it is: Math logic and its' relation with planning, Philosophy and its' relation with planning, policies and its' relation with planning, Freedom and its' relation with planning, Demography and its' relation with planning Society and it's its' relation with planning, art and its' relation with planning. Putting ahead and behind and extracts all the thoughts that related to the after modernity in implication and this research is about to raise a planning that is aligned with spirit of the era and societies' march connected with a form that is aware to the reality as mess blended with fog to formulate some science and arts that is not free of planning touches. The Porous Formation in Contemperory Architecture
Attaa
Abbood
The porosity is one of the concepts which is adopted in contemporary architecture to enhance the production of innovative and unique architectural configurations and forms. It is characterized by balance and integration to achieve the best environmental, aesthetic and functional standards in the architectural building, in line with the technical and technological progress. The research problem was articulated as: the lack of comprehensive framework, of porous formation in terms of its nature, characteristics and rules of formation in contemporary architecture. The aim of research is to introduce this knowledge by adopting the descriptive and analytical approach to a number of architectural studies in order to identify the main vocabulary that define the porous formation and its application to a number of selected projects that distinguish it by investing in the porous formation. The research assumed the adoption of different formations with multiple and varied patterns according to various rules and mechanisms of formation. The research reached to a set of theoretical and practical conclusions concerning the methods and rules of the adoption of the porous formation at different levelsshads as environmental treatment. .
